COUNSELING and SOCIAL CONNECTIONS
Promotion/teaching/connection to Ethiopian cultures and the language (Amharic) to children and youth to help them affirm their identities, develop pride in who they are as Black children growing up in Canada and foster inter-generational connection in the community.
We support newcomers from Ethiopia and Eritrea through grass-root connections to community resources, job search, language services, life skills to facilitate their settlement and integration in Canada.
We provide culturally responsive counseling services on domestic issues, including parenting. We create opportunities for Community interconnections through cultural celebrations and social activities to reduce isolation and increase sense of belonging, specially to seniors.
