 In 2016, Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church moved to its current location. Previously St. Boniface German Parish, the church is generously provided by the Diocese of Hamilton. 

ABOUT US

The Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo maintains a local Christian community under the authority and the protection of the ruling archbishop of the diocese of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church in Canada.

OUR VISION

To foster a Christian community and fellowship through the Ethiopian Orthodox Church by educating members of the congregation in the teachings of the church and guiding them to understanding the underlying principles of their religion, enabling them to co-exist with others on the basis of equality, mutual respect, harmony and love.

HISTORY

The Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church was established in 2010. For six years (from 2010-2016), the church held Sunday mass services in the cork town hall of the church of the Ascension located at 64 Forest Ave.  In 2016, the church moved to its current location. Previously St. Boniface Parish, the church is generously provided by the Diocese of Hamilton.
