The Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Hamilton needs your support to purchase the church building located at 420 Aberdeen Avenue.
The Holy Trinity EOTC was established in 2010 and has been fostering a strong and dedicated community of Christians and fellowship in the City of Hamilton and Surrounding. Under the umbrella of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the Holy Trinity EOTC serves the community by educating members of the congregation in the teachings of the church; providing spiritual services; providing guidance and assistance to newcomers; and teaching children and youth Amharic language and about the church.
In 2016, the church moved to its current location at 420 Aberdeen Avenue. Previously, St. Boniface Parish church, the church building has been generously provided by the Diocese of Hamilton. To maintain and sustain the church services to the growing number of Christians in the area, it is critical that the church secures a permanent home. Currently, the Holy Trinity EOTC is presented with an opportunity to purchase the building and secure ownership to make Holy Trinity's permanent home.
In the past few years, the church community has been working to secure the fund required for down payment, and we are close to achieving the goal with God's grace. This is where you come in. We need your support to achieve this goal by increasing the church's capacity to be able to secure the mortgage.
